What was it like working with Deakin XD and Drew Ryn on "Take Me Back?" How did this collaboration come into fruition and what was the road to release like?
I knew Drew Ryn back when I first started, and we would always talk about music and how our ideas matched so perfectly! There was always great teamwork between us on the collaborations that we did, and we spent a few days without sleep working through Skype and Facetime trying to come up with ideas. After not sleeping for a few days, I just couldn't cope any longer and went to bed. I woke up after a whopping twenty-hour nap and the idea for "Take Me Back" just came into my mind out of nowhere! I immediately called them and told them!

In an interview with our partner site, Respect My Region, you talked at length about representing Italy on a global scale. How important do you think a thriving local scene is to creating global success for a producer or DJ who is just starting out?
Well I believe there are so many talented DJs and producers who are making more unique music than I am. Some of this undiscovered talent probably are more focused or spend more time on music than me. I always look back to where I was a few years ago when I was just starting out. It was so much harder since I live in a small town where the music scene is not as popular as other regions. For those who are just starting out, I just want to say that I understand you completely and if you guys ever have any ideas you want to share with me, I always will try my best to help in any way I can!

Throughout your career, you've worked with incredible names such as Breathe Carolina, Magnificence, Jetfire, REGGIO, Funkz, Maeva Carter, Suyano, ANGEMI, D3FAI, Blasterjaxx, Tom Swoon, Rivero, MR. BLACK, and BL3R. What tips can you pass along to other producers about proper networking and building a healthy support circle?
Such a great question! For me, I started with nothing like a lot of people have. I would say that I started network by seeking out the right people and keep digging until I got where I needed to be. There are so many moments when the timing isn't right and an opportunity disappears. I mean everyone wants to collaborate with big DJs so that they become bigger, and for me, my tips are to focus on what you are good at, what you are doing, and most importantly: to believe in yourself and never give up. I know it sounds odd and you might have heard this phrase a billion times, but when it comes to that moment where you start wanting to give up, think about my tips and you'll survive. That's how I did it.

What have been some of your personal breakthrough moments during your journey with music production?
For me, it did not involve a lot of new tricks but it mainly just hard work. I am the guy who's always believed that hard work pays off, and of course you need to be creative and work smart. But for music production, the ideas were always there. One of my little secrets is that I love putting my personal experiences and emotions into each of the songs that I create. I use what I am good at expressing my life experiences and what I have been through. It's the best - like writing a book or journal.
Looking forward to the rest of the year, what can we expect from you and the Wasback project?
I am talking with a few great singers and waiting for their confirmation on collaborations! If we get along well, I know we'll create something super unique! Apart from that, I have a few songs that have been accepted by a few big labels. Unfortunately, I cannot reveal much but I can say that you guys will be surprised! Might have some different styles coming up as well! (shh!)
