You both have created a very identifiable signature sound which you've used to flavor many of your recent singles and collaborations. How did you first decide on this style and what plans do you have to evolve it going into 2020?
Yeah it's been great! The support we got on our songs has been incredible. The first time we felt that this was really our sound, was when we were releasing "808." The response on that song was so good that we knew that this was something special. For 2020, we have so many amazing ideas and songs ready! It's going to be really exciting to see what they are going to do!

Can you walk us through the process of creating your latest track, "Mumble"?
Mumble was so organic. The song idea started with the drop only and we had to find the right vocal for the break to make it extra special. The track is all about energy - the drop is heavy and the break is just following so well. We always test the new songs out before they get released - it has to fit into our set or has to make you feel some type of way. It's a good thing to do so you can change stuff mix wise and energy wise.

Outside of the booth and the studio, what do you two enjoy doing to unwind and relax?
We both enjoy fishing, drinking whisky, spending time with our girlfriends, being with family and friends and just making music. Just love all that!
Having been in this industry for almost a decade now, what are some of the biggest shifts that you have experienced first has as you've navigated your careers?
What has changed is that everybody is doing their own thing and trying to be the best as possible in that. Back when we were starting or even a few years ago it was more trend based and everybody was following that. It's a good thing that this is happening and there will be so much more creativity!
What are some of the factors that you feel make STMPD RCRDS such a successful brand in this saturated industry?
What STMPD does is let the artist be the artist that they want to be. That way, you as an artist can evolve into your own thing with the amazing support of the team of STMPD RCRDS. That's what's fantastic about working together with them - they support our sound and vision as well as give amazing feedback so that can make the brand and music better.

How was your experience this year at Amsterdam Dance Event? What were some of the highlights from your time there?
It's been crazy! Fans flew in from all over the world to see us and bring flags and presents to our big show with Martin Garrix in the Rai. It's just amazing to see that people love what we do and embrace the music and brand that we are. And seeing all our DJ friends, playing at their shows and seeing their events has been super fun!

What have been some of your most memorable moments on-stage over the years?
One of those amazing moments was this summer at Lollapalooza. We were there with both our families and we were playing the Olympic Stadium in Berlin (which is crazy!). It was one of our best gigs ever and I just remember a moment together on stage that we were looking at each other and were feeling so happy that we were playing there. The crowd went nuts and our parents could watch us play this amazing festival. It was just unbelievable.
Looking towards 2020 and beyond, what are your plans for the TV Noise project?
Of course there will be a lot of new music! Working together with amazing artists and improving our live show all the time to give you guys the best show every time you see us!
