Let's start off by talking about your latest release on Future House Cloud, "Six Pack." Can you tell us more about the inspiration for this track and how it fits into your recent vlog series about physical health?
"Six Pack" is a track that was inspired by working out. I wanted to make a track which gives you motivation and energy to work out. Together with my "Beyond Fitness" vlogs, I hope to inspire a lot of people to work out more and to show them that it is a lot of fun.

I always make sure that I find time to do some sports within my busy travel and work schedule. This really helps give me energy throughout the day and beat jet lags more easily when I am on tour.
When you first started out in production, you were focusing on big room before moving to pop records and how bass house. What led you to these changes and where do you see your sound going in the future?
It all depends on my moods and what I got inspired from. What I do try to use in all my tracks is add a lot of energy and a lot of different style influences. What I am feeling at the moment is a bit more towards the Bass House side indeed, this is really because I personally love working out with that kind of music. At this moment the bass house music hypes me up a lot and that is really what inspires me to make those kind of tracks at the moment.

Last year, you did an official remix with the original Broadway cast of Mean Girls for "I'd Rather Be Me." How did you approach this remix with the knowledge that it might be heard by people outside of your normal listening audience?
I approached this remix by trying to give it a "Sophie Francis" sound, which is a lot of energy. I wanted to make something people could really dance too, but at the same time I wanted it to stay close to the original so a wider audience could hear their favourite Mean Girls track in a new light.

In past interviews, you frequently talk about how women have to work twice as hard in this male-driven industry. If you were curating an all-female lineup for a festival, who all would you book and why?
Allison Wonderland - Because she is awesome! I love her personal style and her music and she is so incredibly talented.
La Twins - Because they have a crazy awesome energy.
Mariana Bo - Because I love her music
Juicy M - Because skill wise, she is incredible with the mixers.

You're coming up on almost 50 episodes of your vlog series over on your YouTube channel. When you look back at when you started this endeavor, what are some of the lessons and skills that you've picked up over the course of the episodes and video content you've put out so far?
I have learnt to be myself more on camera. I used to find it super awkward to film myself in public and if I look back at the first vlogs I can really see that. Now I just film everywhere and anyone (if they are okay with it) and I don't think it is awkward anymore and I feel like that really shows. I feel like the vlogs contributed because people have really seen my journey, how I started and where I am now. I try to really be myself on the vlogs so people get to know me and I feel like that is super important in the industry to get close with the viewers. I believe this way there is a stronger connection.
What are some of the personal goals that you've set for yourself going into 2020 and beyond?
For myself I have set out to keep creating music I can really incorporate into my set but also keep into the working out mode. So I will promise to bring out those new tracks and there is definitely some other exciting stuff coming, but you will see more this coming year!
