Cam's Release Radar - Week of May 21, 2021

Highlights: 
Revealed 10 Year Remixes EP
The highlight for me on the EP is ‘This Is Love’, which has been flipped into a dark clubby banger by BLK RSE. I love how he didn’t go the classic Kaaze progressive route with his remix for Hardwell like some of the others in this package and instead decided to push his new alias front and center. This is guaranteed to open up a lot of casual listeners to the sounds of BLK RSE and it is some of the most exciting material to come out of Revealed in the last year. For me, Ryos, Sick Individuals, Maddix and Dr. Phunk were all very predictable. I also have to give credit to Jac & Harri for creating some summer vibes with their remix of Chase The Sun, very unexpected. Also don’t forget to check out the Drumstone remix of Retrograde for something very unique. A 7-minute journey through the sounds of melodic techno using the familiar Retrograde melody that we have all fallen in love with. Overall it is a long-overdue remix pack and I am glad Revealed decided to drop it all at once.

Fatum - Stream Starting Soon (EP)
Fatum are back on Anjunabeats with an EP and I will not stop until everyone has heard of these guys. They have perfected the progressive trance/melodic techno crossover and they have some of the grittiest and grooviest tracks I have ever heard. Their sound is simply addicting and this EP is no exception. In addition to this EP, check out “Outlaw”, “Open My Eyes”, “Faceless”, “Kensho”, and their two remixes of “Walk Into The Water” by BT.
