When I revisited The QR Network project back in March of 2025, my initial goal was to curate EPs across an array of genres I loved, ranging from Bass House to Happy Hardcore and Hardstyle to see which genre would define my third label venture. At the time, I foolishly believed the time of Big Room had passed. My focus was simply to conclude the story I was telling with Intensity Recordings before pivoting to my next chapter in the music scene. However, after the support for our Big Room EPs from KEVU & SixCap and Declain paired with the massive release of "Vulcan" by SaberZ - it's clear this era is far from over.
Today, we are taking a definitive step backward into our origins to push the future of Big Room forward. Our latest release, "Land of Relevancy," brings together two forces of the hard dance scene: Danish powerhouse THOBY and underground mainstage favorite RAYVEN. A Full-Circle Reunion: Welcoming THOBY Back to His Roots"Land of Relevancy" is more than just a return to form for the label, it's a full circle moment that goes all the way back to when QR was just a blog trying to tell the stories of EDM producers and industry professionals. As an American, I was isolated from the European and Asian artists I spent my days listening to. I had absolutely no connections to the scene beyond a website and a dream. Our industry presence now is due entirely to then-emerging producers like THOBY, who willingly shared their time with us. That early foundation and true substance of our interviews eventually allowed us to go on to feature interviews with massive industry icons like Maurice West (now known globally as Mau P), Dannic, Chocolate Puma, Riot Ten, and Kompany. Over the near-decade since that conversation, the electronic industry has shifted underneath our feet, but THOBY did what true talents do: he persisted, adapted, and thrived. Today, he commands well over 100,000 monthly Spotify listeners and has built an undeniable global presence. His dynamic solo records and mainstage collaborations have found homes on world-renowned imprints like Smash The House, Revealed Recordings, Kontor, Reaching Altitude, Chapter Eight, and now our next rising label, The QR Network! As a DJ, THOBY has captivated audiences across Europe with his energetic performances across stages at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) to dominating massive Danish festival stages like Rock Under Broen, Wonderfestiwall, and Generator Festival. Watching his journey from our second blog feature to a global streaming heavyweight has been incredibly rewarding. His official arrival on our imprint marks a remarkable, necessary milestone for our label. The Return of RAYVEN: Igniting a New 4-Track ChapterOn the other side of this powerhouse collaboration is RAYVEN. For the day-one followers of my projects across Intensity Recordings and Loca Recordings, RAYVEN requires no introduction. He is an underground fan favorite known for his instantly recognizable, fiercely textured, and crunchy synth design. Whether you know him from his standout output on Glow Records alongside Gaspar, or his crowd-shattering genre anthem "Big Room Army" with Nick Havsen and ALEJANDRO, RAYVEN's production presence is unmistakable. "Land of Relevancy" marks RAYVEN's first official release in three years, but this is only the beginning. This track serves as the opening chapter of a 4-track EP we are developing with him throughout 2026. For the listeners who cannot wait to hear where this underground journey is headed, you can catch exclusive previews of his upcoming records right now inside We Are OUTRAGE Episode 073. The Curation Narrative: Rebuilding the Big Room Crossover MovementAs the label manager for Loca, Intensity, and now The QR Network, my mission has always been to provide a home for talented producers around the world who's sound might not always resonate with other label's A&R teams. Tracks like "Land of Relevancy" check many of the boxes we're looking for: signature sounds, catchy melodies, and undeniable energy. We engineered this release to hit with maximum impact during the peak-time festival window. It honors the golden era of big room house while injecting a modern energy required for 2026 club spaces. This is just the first drop in a massive pipeline of new EPs and singles we have scheduled for the rest of the year. The underground big room house movement is on the brink of a massive global resurgence, as proven by the explosive, viral festival sets from the likes of KEVU and Jaxx & Vega over at Nameless Festival. The underground undercurrent is rising again, and The QR Network is positioned right at the center of the wave. Stream THOBY & RAYVEN – "Land of Relevancy" now on Spotify, Apple Music, and all digital streaming platforms via The QR Network.
