The QR Network is first and foremost: a blog. I started this blog back in 2018 to share stories about producers, DJs, and industry professionals and this journey has evolved into so much more since then. With the label going back to weekly releases, I feel it important to impart that human touch to these press releases so I'll be speaking from the first person until the point where these posts reflect a team rather than just myself as an individual. 

Michael Ace has been someone I've had my eye on for a while with his knack for truly capturing that oldschool festival vibe with his productions. When I was running Intensity, I really felt like there was a market for some of those genuine 2014 vibes which is when I started turning into a superfan with this music and Michael Ace was delivering a fresh iteration of that sound. Between his demos for "Nocturne" and "The Lightbulb," I knew he understood the assignment and I was proud to showcase his tracks on that label. Now with The QR Network, we're going right back to that creative well with a brand-new 3 track EP starting off with the Melbourne Bounce heater, "Eyes On Us" with LEGND.
