STVW Teams Up with NAEMS & MountBlaq for Self-Released "Prodigy EP"

STVW has been on an independent streak recently and teaming up with prominent big room talent to bring some nostalgic big room releases to market. Earlier this month, he brought back German producer, L3N for his western return with "Middle Fingers." The pair self-released the track to western markets but was officially released by the Chinese-exclusive label, Pony Records.

The "Prodigy EP" brings new tracks from MountBlaq and NAEMS who have both rocking the industry with hot releases on Maxximize and Revealed Radar. The titular track, "Prodigy" with MountBlaq is just a hair over two minutes and is teeming with raw psy energy. The breaks are filled with old rave energy and the drops with new-age rolling bass. "Sideways" with NAEMS is my favorite of the pair as it is more classic big room with trance influence. It seems to draw some inspiration from NAEMS' collaboration with AKI-HIRO on Loca Recordings, "Defender," which has been racking up plays on Spotify's Fit mit Beat Editorial Playlist.

We've been seeing a trend in big room artists trying their hand at self-releases in the past month, with Ragunde & ROAFF and Jakik & Bitas both opting to put out their tracks on their own than aligning with a festival label. Nevertheless, as long as the good music keeps coming, that's all we need to hear!
