Dillon Francis released a solo record called “Make You Move” on April 17, 2026, anchored by the stellar vocals of Poppy Baskcomb. While mainstream music blogs are busy covering the surface-level release details, I want to focus a bit more on who all was involved in bringing this track to life.

Though listed as a solo release by Dillon Francis, checking the Spotify credits revealed two of the underground's most promising artists: Viperactive and Allenora (previously known to bass music fans under his former alias, BVNISHED).
NIGHTMODE · Allenora - YOU WANT IT
You might recognize Allenora from his most recent full-on collaboration with Dillon Francis, “RIDDEM” alongside America Foster. Personally, it was Allenora's track “YOU WANT IT” that made me want to look into the credits on "Make You Move" because there were just so many structural and melodic similarities; I couldn't quite buy that this Dillon Francis release didn't involve some other talent.
Unboxing the credits, you'll indeed find Thomas "Allen-Ora" Woolums alongside Poppy Baskcomb and her two heavy-hitting co-writers: Paul Harris (a frequent collaborator with Tiësto, Hannah Laing, Joel Corry, Gabry Ponte, Kylie Minogue, Calvin Harris, and Timmy Trumpet) and Toby Scott (a major songwriter and producer behind hits for Bruce Springsteen, Armin Van Buuren, Alok, Sam Smith, and Dom Dolla).
Not only was Allenora a massive part of the track's architecture, but Viperactive was credited with many of the major mixing, mastering, and production attributes. Having listened to many of his solo tracks - with “Dead To Me” being one of my absolute favorites - I can absolutely hear his aggressive engineering style and crisp transient choices buried in the final mix down.
JOYTIME COLLECTIVE · Viperactive - Dead To Me
What's particularly interesting about this release is that Dillon Francis has proper, official collaborations with both Allenora and Viperactive, which begs the question: why weren't they considered main artists on "Make You Move?"
Just one month later, on May 29, 2026, Dillon Francis dropped “RIDDEM” with Allenora and vocalist America Foster. Previously, Viperactive was first-billed on a massive Dillon Francis collab titled “LOUDER” back on November 7, 2025. While we are missing official confirmation from any of the camps involved regarding the billing decision, as a fan, I would have loved to see these two brilliant up-and-comers credited directly as main artists on this strong release instead of masking it as a Dillon Francis solo effort.

Check out the playlist below to hear how the sounds of all three artists intersect.
